PROJECTSIntroduction [Biosketch]
- Dr. Arun Kumar received his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur, India, in 2014. He went on to complete his Ph.D. at the Indian Institute of Technology Patna, India, in 2020. Currently, Dr. Arun serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Silchar, Assam, India. Before joining NIT Silchar, he held the position of Assistant Professor in the ECE Department at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET), Patiala. Dr. Arun was awarded with the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in 2016 and the Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) in 2018 by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Government of India. He is a recipient of Foreign Travel Grant from CSIR, and an International Travel Grant from the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB). He was also awarded the National Post-Doctoral Fellowship (NPDF) by, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. His research interests include Computational Nanoelectronics, Quantum Modeling, Statistical Analysis of Reliability Issues, and TCAD-Augmented Machine Learning. Dr. Arun has published numerous research papers in leading journals and presented his work at flagship IEEE conferences both in India and abroad. He is an active member of IEEE, the IEEE Electron Devices Society, and IEEE Young Professionals.
