BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

Dr. Wasim Arif obtained his Bachelor of Technology from Burdwan University in 2003. He obtained his Master of Technology from Jadavpur University in 2008 and Ph.D. from NIT Silchar in 2015.

He joined the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Silchar on 10 May, 20210 as an Assistant Professor in the department of ECE. He is presently working as Associate Professor.

He has received some sponsored projects from MeitY, DHE, and NRDC. He has project collaboration with G S Sanyal School of Telecommunication, IIT Kgp.

He is a Senior Member of IEEE. He is currently the Secretary of IEEE ComSoc Kolkata Chapter under the IEEE Kolkata Section. He was the recipient of the Best Volunteer award of IEEE Kolkata Chapter in 2021.
